Salted Walnut Butter

When the landlord’s away, the screaming loud food processor comes out to play!

2 cups walnut halves/pieces, raw or toasted
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp walnut or canola oil
3 Tbsp turbinado sugar, honey, or some combination of both

Add all but the oil to a powerful food processor, and pulse until finely ground. Slowly add the oil, and blend until properly pasty.

Scoop into a mason jar or tight plastic container and store….hmm…**probably in the fridge to be safe**

…but I might try the pantry for a while, because no one likes stiff, cold nut butters. Will report any strange bacterial growths if not devoured within a day. 😛
